Come across a shop selling the J-make @ the Bencoolen. Didn't ask the price, but considering being J plus recent parallels mostly K-s, comes with in-house warranty... i guess some red bills off Mustafa price ba...

The SCALLOP doesn't belong to me. It belongs to a HK owner who dropped accidentally on his home floor. I thought the shroud is ceramic wrap metal one? But it seems... totally ceramic to me... no sight of metal stuff underneath.

Defective or just many careless people? I do believe ceramic cracks are not uncommon. Any insights?

interesting...i previously read that the shroud was a stainless steel base with ceramic coating.
looks like its wholly ceramic, not surprised it cracked that way then.
