Seiko Prospex Transocean

Seiko announced a new Prospex series: Transocean

Supposedly more of a dressier kind of divers' watch. 6r15 movement, has ceramic bezel, AR coated sapphire crystal and DiaShield coated case. Dimension is 45.5mm x 45mm x 13.8mm, and weighs 205g.

MSRP 130,000 yen before tax (about 1.5k SGD).

From the pics, I'm not very attracted to the design, I guess have to look at the actual piece.

Thought SUMO is more value if considering movement. MM300 will be more worth if we look at Seiko watch near 2k category.

I dunno, the hands doesn't really appeal to me. and the pricing... thats in lower MM300 range already? maybe due to the ceramic bezel.
but i saw on seiya, that most of the new marine masters using the same hands also...

let's welcome SBDC043... The Seiko Prospex SBDC043 "Transocean Zero Halliburton" is a 45mm men's automatic watch with a stainless steel case and a silver-white analog dial protected by sapphire crystal. It uses a 6R15 caliber self-winding mechanical movement.... the dial is really impressive especially the zero halliburton logo on the dial... however, the most stupid thing is the integrated bracelet....

oh ya, limited edition of 500 pieces...
