Replacement 7s26 - where?

Post by filtrate » 23 Apr 2016 15:25

hi guys, i acquired an old diver through WUS... turns out that the 7s26 movement is very cui already, doesn't wind properly and has a reserve of no more than 10 hours (this is a generous estimate).

i was thinking of taking it down to thongsia to have it repaired, anyone has experience? will they accept secondhand pieces with aftermarket parts? or are there cheaper/better solutions?

advice needed pls!

I believe any watchmaker is able to service a 7S movement or get a donor movement from the bay

Lastly, u can try calling thong sia and get a quote for a BN 7S movement?

ditto to CEO. 7S is highly serviceable. Less than 50 can probably bring your diver back to her former glory.
