Tuna Battery Change

Hi Guys

Quick question..

Found 2 results from the Forum search function

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=8096&p=142330&hilit ... ry#p142330" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

viewtopic.php?f=6&t=8874&p=147240&hilit ... ry#p147240" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I'm considering to do a purchase of the Tuna SBBN035 (300m) or the SBBN025 (1000m).

Question 1: Does Thong Sia does battery change for the above Tuna models?

Questions 2: If Thong Sia does battery change, will they do a water resist test again for the above models?

Question 3: What are the main differences in the construction of the above 2 models? Apart from Dimension differences (thickness etc...), are the cases built the same among the both models?

Oh sorry, found some pictures on Seiya's site.

Appreciate if someone knows on Thong Sia battery replacement queries as the 1000m is a monocoque case..

thong sia should be able to do battery change for both tunas. IIRC, read somewhere that they are able to do pressure test only up to 200m but have never confirmed.
Monocoque case mainly just reduces the number of openings in the case so that there are fewer places that run the risk of water getting in(since no water can enter through the case back of a monocoque case).
Can try email thong sia to confirm your questions. They normally reply quite fast also.
