6105 hunting in Vietnam

Post by k1w1 » 27 Aug 2014 22:21

Hi All,

I am planning on heading up to Vietnam in the coming weeks and was hoping someone might be able to enlighten me as to where I could find some second hand watch dealers/shops in HCMC or Vung Tau.
I am after the old favorite 6015 and hear they were all the rage with the GIs over there during the war.Any info would be appreciated or if you have one lying around even better. Thanks in advance.
Cheers....

Be aware of frankens, in my last trip to HCMC, as I visited the Ben Thanh market, there are some tourist shops along the way, noticed a lot of them are selling "military watches". Most of them are frankens, or even modern re-produced.
Not as active.

Not easy to find a decent 6105 nowadays.
