Re: Seiko forum watch process of watch case & design
The dial is the soul of everything, take your time to slowly finetune the design(if any).
Dun rush things, if it drags over the next few months, it's common.
Ultimately, we hope to achieve a perfect or near perfect dial design
loke what Roo had said, we will be here to support & give advise

Re: Seiko forum watch process of watch case & design
I think i can see the SC65 in the logo...
The logo is made up of 2 strokes, 1 a "S" with the middle section straightened, 2, a big C that rounds up the S.
The top part of the S curves along with the perimeter of the C, but kept a little distance.
The lower part of the S looks like a tail, that joins the perimeter of the C.
If fellow brudders couldn't see, not surprising. As the logo are all in a single color.
It will be easy to tell, if the logo can be made up of 2 colors... like yellow for S, orange for C... but that will affect the cost liaoz...

Re: Seiko forum watch process of watch case & design
i will suggest keeping to just 1 colour for the logo
too many colours will spoil the look imo

Re: Seiko forum watch process of watch case & design
Eh the center portion resembles a wave. From there u will see a 6 and as 5 & S are similar in their strokes, its also the same shape created. Hope this clarifies all doubts
Re: Seiko forum watch process of watch case & design
remember zeikphur, on screen, it's easy to draft out a logo
but when on actual printing on dial, take note the fine gap between 2 strokes might be 'lost'
maybe u can try to shorten the 'S' so both gaps have a cut-off distance on actual print

Re: Seiko forum watch process of watch case & design
Yup, noted bro, need to do one according to scale. Does any bro know the size of a 007 dial?
Re: Seiko forum watch process of watch case & design
is the 12:00 hour marker be like this or it's not to scale yet?
actually if this is gonna be an all customised dial, we can think of something diff, for the hour markers, need not follow back the traditional dive marker style?
make it a unique dial
rectangula-ish? so it matches the hour hand
or the tip of the min hand (house/arrow shape?)
