2nd Phase of SC65 Forum Watch Voting.

Post by roo7 » 21 Jun 2012 08:27

Just to be clear, putting your name down serves as a commitment as we draw closer to finalizing the design, if there's no confirmation or you went MIA, your design vote will be invalid.

We need to re-vote if there are many missing votes.

So I hope every one of us is putting a commit to this and not vote for the sake of voting.

Hi

Is this "commitment" to the design that we voted for, or that we get the Seiko Club Singapore watch, irregardless of which the winning design will be ? What I mean by that is, if I vote for Design A, but the majority vote goes to Design B, am I committing to buy the Design B watch ?

Sorry, I have to ask..

Cheers

I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone who has contributed in voicing their opinions as well as take time to digress and vote for the forum watch.

I understand there are some queries on how the second phase of the project is gonna pan out.

As said, this is a forum watch; the key decision still lies with its valued members. Once you have cast your vote, you are taking a step closer in making this project a reality.

The winning design will be based on the majority of votes cast. This will therefore be used as a benchmark for gathering cost from the supplier. The final amount will thus be revealed in due notice.

I would also like to implore to those members who have cast their votes on the winning entry to stay steadfast on their choice and not to go amiss when the payment process commences. This will indefinitely save time in producing the watch as well as conducting a re-vote if necessary.

A re-voting will be imposed if the members of the winning entry fail to commit onto their choice. They will be denounced of their chance to re-vote and will also be subjected to the committee's decision of entitling them the forum project watch. The reason being such, as it would not be fair for the rest of the members who have painstakingly made an effort to vote for their design.

For the unselected dial/hands forum voters, they will be given a choice to see if they would like to continue on with the winning design. Sincerely speaking, I do hope that they would continue on with it as this is the first time we are doing a forum project watch and their support is greatly appreciated.

Hope this shed a light to all the doubts that you have. If there are anymore questions or queries, do kindly let the committee know. Thanks for your time in reading this.

The Grey dial with Blue logo is a good match, so as the yellow with Red logo.
