Adjust your Moon(phase) watch

Post by chriscentro » 18 Feb 2013 20:50

Hi

Saw a WRUW post with moonphase watch, thought I bring you tonight's moon for your adjustment reference :)
There seem to be a "star" near the moon tonight, never seen it before.

Thanks guys.

I always set to f10 and 1/200 secs, white balance set to 4000k. Handheld shot as my lens has optical stabilizer.

Oh ya, someone said the "star" is actually Jupiter!

Time is free, but it's priceless. You can't
own it, but you can use it. You can't keep
it, but you can spend it. Once you've lost it
you can never get it back.

Tonight's moon, you will see less details as it is almost full moon. During full moon, the moon is evenly lit, there are no mixture of lighted and dark areas to bring out the details.

And it's cloudy tonight, no clear shot. Sorry to bother you all with my pics
