thanks, 35mm is a versatile lens.Wade wrote:Nice photos. I can sense the pros and a must have 35mm lens for photography.
Will I get the same nice photo as ur, if I'm using e 35mm on D5200?chriscentro wrote:thanks, 35mm is a versatile lens.Wade wrote:Nice photos. I can sense the pros and a must have 35mm lens for photography.
Just to clarify, for Sea Aquarium, although mostly shot with 35mm, some are shot with a 100mm lens like the clown fishes.Wade wrote:Will I get the same nice photo as ur, if I'm using e 35mm on D5200?chriscentro wrote:

May I know what is your shutter speed, aperture & ISO for 35mm?chriscentro wrote:Just to clarify, for Sea Aquarium, although mostly shot with 35mm, some are shot with a 100mm lens like the clown fishes.Wade wrote: Will I get the same nice photo as ur, if I'm using e 35mm on D5200?
If you use your combo at Sea Aquarium, you should get nice photos too if you get your shutter speed, aperture, ISO and composition right.
Try not use flash at the aquarium unless it's off camera.
Different tanks may have different amount of lighting. So, you probably want to maintain about 1/80 sec shutter speed, aperture from f1.8 - f2.5 and adjust your ISO from 400 upwards to attain the shutter speed. Check your cam's LCD to see if your shots are well exposed. Try to get your lens as near to the glass as possible to avoid reflections.Wade wrote:May I know what is your shutter speed, aperture & ISO for 35mm?chriscentro wrote: Just to clarify, for Sea Aquarium, although mostly shot with 35mm, some are shot with a 100mm lens like the clown fishes.

btw, normal what type of format will you use RAW or JPEG or both?
Oh sorry, being kiasu, I use both jpegs and RAW. I usually convert from Raw, unless the jpeg is already very nice then no pp.Wade wrote:Chriscentro bro, abit of side track. for your experience, what are the idea of shutter speed, aperture and ISO for taking landscape and portrait?
Ahet type of format are you using Raw or JPEG or both for photos?
