Heh low ball? Kana all the time..but buyer is free to offer whatever they want and seller is free to accept or not.

But hor, the worse is when the low baller called me and yak non stop why his ridiculous offer is a fair price..."it's a quartz la, not automatic, many people selling also, friend can get for me direct from Japan blah blah...non stop like a broken record...dare to end the call with if you dun sell me now and change your mind later or tomorrow, it will not be this price..fwah...that was the most "interesting" case for me.

diff products, diff LB reasons.

Watches, usually will either slash $100 off my asking price or more. I usually ignore.

Misc stuffs, will always receive excuses like 'i'm a student, can cheaper?' :|

I think it's mainly watches, you see all sorts of LB excuses, when you post $xxx firm, you will still receive 'offer $xxx', just these 2 words. wtf. I read liao oso dulan. At least be sincere & write better, like 'Can I offer you $xxx for this xxxxx watch?', tio bo?

So far in SC, have not met any LB-ers yet, mostly steady one.

Other watch forums, wah, vomit blood.

If I want to try my luck, I'll just ask politely "if this is the best price". If firm, then I'll proceed if I really like the piece. If not, just decline and move on la. People won't be very much richer or poorer with 10-20 bucks cheaper or more expensive. Most of us here just want a fair deal and enjoy the thrill of trading. :)

Or do you guys mean idiots who offer 60-70% cheaper than what you have posted? Those guys are scumbags!

Carousell - The most low-baller platform. Already mentioned price firm, not nego, still want to low-ball.

Some keep asking to trade don't know what brand watch PLUS top up from ME !!

Some said "the specs is normal lar... this specs watch, i wun pay more than S$500" (For New Ancon M26 Tank)

Some confirmed price, meet to collect then ask for S$20 discount. Ok la, at the end I give (nvm S$20 buy you a dinner). Turn out, next day found he put is up on sell again at S$200 more than the price I sold him. Anyway, Good luck to his resale !!

PS: No hard felling, if happen coincidence point to any bro here. You know watch world is not that big. :D
