Managing pest at home

Post by roo7 » 24 Oct 2014 07:46

Any tips for the new home owner ?

Just about 3 months into my new place, found ants ! Seems to came from my neighbor's plants or just somewhere outside.

Such a new estate, already have ants.

Anyway found this, terro pco. Really effective in baiting, shall see how effective in killing.

In the meantime, a more natural way is using cinnamon seems to disrupt their scent. Useful if you want to stop them from coming and smells nice too.

I bought this from NTUC, discovered it from HWZ: http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/eat-d ... 08204.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Warning: large amount of ants pictures ahead.

I use lemon juice to confuse them. It worked for a few weeks. This evening when i returned home, i found a trail of them coming into my house from the outside of my unit. WTH. Gonna use another method, baby powder. If really cant solve the problem, gonna try Terro liao. :lol:

Bought the Terro Ant killer and tried it at home and car.
Saw the ants being attracted to the liquid and the next day, no more ants were found :shock:

Yah, just update, it took a while, for the first week, there's still ants around, lesser, more dead ones around my kitchen, by 2-3rd week, I don't see any.

Keeping kitchen as clean as possible, also making sure there's no ants lurking outside my unit too..

That is a nice and cute pussycat! Do watch out because they tend to eat nasty things.

Happy new year SC+65!
