Just a little info for all who may be interested UHR's complex mechanicals products.
As previously mentioned UHR in initially planned to release a 7751 moonphase chrono last year, but did not come into reality.
Well in my email to UHR, i just slightly mentioned about this previously failed project. Received an answer from them... below are the extract of some part of the email...
from me,
"Greetings from Singapore.
My sincere thanks to you for your previous replies on the queries to your
range of watches, movements, as well as delivery process clarifications.
Your range of watches had caught some attention in the local watch
collecting communities for being low profiled, but strongly valued for money
in built quality and movement used.
... ...
I was browsing the web recently, come across your facebook page with this
post:-
http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid= ... e=1&ref=nf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
which touches on a 7751 timepiece planned to be launch in 2011, if I'm not
wrong.
Further search lead me to a discussion thread of a popular international
forum WatchUSeek:-
http://forums.watchuseek.com/f8/uhr-goi ... 18721.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
which I didn't realized that I had joined in the discussion last year as
well on the planned release.
To date, the only product from your online product range I can find that
uses the 7751 movement, is only listed in your Private Label section...
Hopefully you could share your insights on the development of this complex
movement timepiece?
Looking forward to your reply soon."
Reply from UHR sales team...
"...thanks for your mail. A UHR with an ETA7751 never made it to production
in 2011, unfortunately. We still are looking to offer mechanical watches
with complications such as power reserve or moon phase. So we might see
a watch with a 7751 in 2012. At this time, I can't give you more
information on this topic. But make sure to check out our Facebook Wall
on a regular basis since we always announce there new models and other
developments..."
From the reply, it seems that UHR might have been planning to release watches with 7751 movements in coming months, or perhaps some day for the year... hmm... i wonder when will that be?
