kinda tonneau, but yet not really. the odd shaped lugs and the bulging bezel just makes it a bit odd. maybe it just takes a little getting used to.

on a side note, saw the 104 at the hour glass boutique at orchard central a few days back.. 18XX after 30% discount. a bit steep (compared to european/american prices) but very very nice watch!

Sinn must get Germany to get good price. Benji did it before.

Played with the T1 today while buying my U2, didn't like it and the arrow minute hand killed it for it. The price is also on excess of 6k...for the hardened titanium...

saw the T1 today as well. actually i found it a lot more endearing than i thought it would be. very light due to the titanium case.. yeah 6k before discount. tough fight between this and the tudor pelagos.

So any SINN U2 owners here? How come I feel that the water moisture indicator at 6 o'clock on my piece is already a pale blue and not white like the markers? I did remark on this and the sales guy at THG told me it's normal no worries. In fact the indicator on the 857 UTC on display was even more blue. But man I can't stop obsessing about it...

Any U2 owners care to share?

Look the U1s ... From what i heard the older models must be sent back to THG for servicing as the oil they use in the watch is different?

No la now only the oil filled UX needs to be sent back to Sinn for service and battery change. The rest can be serviced in Singapore

$400 for full service, oil and battery change is reasonable I guess. Servicing my quartz SMP 300 at SWATCH cost $450 plus...no oil change some more haha

nice watch, i have a similar brown strap for my U2, but when i put it on, found that the bottom spring bars (6 O'clock) is loose and moves around in the lug hole which is scary and irritating. Do you have similar issues?

Was considering between U2 and 857 UTC.
Finally decided to get the 857 UTC.
Will try to post pics later.

Wow I was considering between the 857UTC and U2 and ultimately got the U2... What made u choose the 857 over the U2?

I find U2 a bit too heavy for me plus I feel 857 is more versatile when dress up or dress down.
Overall, I must say it's not an easy decision.

Yep, U2 feels like a tank on my wrist, heavier even then a Tuna, but strangely it wears smaller than my seiko solar chrono which appears bigger and thicker on my wrist.
