Manual Winding Test

A bit boh liao, so decide to do a power reserve test of all my manual wind watches. Starting Friday, 9pm.

Contender-
(1) Rolex 6694- 1225 Movement
(2) Omega Speedmaster- 1861 Movement
(3) RXW MM20- Swiss Unitas 6497
(4) Seagull 1963- Seagull ST19 Movement
(5) Bostok Military- ?? Movement

Winner- RXW MM20- 53 Hours.

2nd Place- Seagull 1963- 51 Hours

3rd Place- Rolex 6694- 50 Hours

4th Place- Omega Speedmaster- 49.5 hours

Lastly, Bostok, but to be fair, it's service history is not known. Just got it recently. 43 Hours.

Happy that all are above the 40 hours mark.

It's a manual winding Vostok 2409 movement.

Vostok 2409 (RU)
Mechanical lever movement
Manual winding
Diameter: 24 mm
Movement height: 3,7 mm
17 jewels
Functions: hours, minutes
Shock protection
Frequency: 19800 vph.
Daily rate from -20 to +60 s/day
Power reserve minimum: 40 h

Thanks. So actually, it is a bit over specs.

Yup, Russians tend to be more conservative over their specs.

My asian 6497's lasted....

58hrs for low beat / regular version
55hrs for 21.6k version.

Beauty of 6497 -- easy to service, parts readily avaliable ....
I do NOT need another watch , I have enough watches ...

the seagull looks nice. something unique compared to the usual watch designs
