The Red Army [Vintage content]

Post by roo7 » 12 Apr 2011 12:39

While everybody is posting their collection, here are some of my prized vintage pieces.

A part of the Soviet Union horology history.

From Q2 of 1938, First State Watch Factory, 1 of the oldest pocket watch in my collection.

Adding another piece here, a real mystery, no dates and logos.

LOL, it's the case back, I already scrubbed and ultra sonic clean it, it's mainly corrosion or patina that built up over the decades.

Yes it does.

Throw in any well used watch or jewelery bracelet or your daily spectacle frame and watch clouds of dirt emerge from the small tiny gaps especially between the spectacle frame and lens.. LOL

I just use normal dish washing liquid, don't need to put a lot.. try to soap the object before putting it in as it's the tiny bubbles that dislodge the dirt from the ultra sonic vibration.. although there's always stubborn stains.

You can use Mr Muscle... HAHAHAHA... sound like TV commercial..

Got, lex loh. He put his panda for a swim. As long as the case is water resistant, it should be fine.
