Both looks fine.

Like you said, you're probably use to wearing larger watches for too long.

I felt the same when I first wore a Titanium watch (Ti Samurai)... It felt too light.

My fav size is actually 40mm. I find that it's most practical for me.

My mechanical watches range from 36-44mm

Yah me too. 36mm to 40mm my preference.

I wonder how this blue squale compares to the blue sandoz sub.

If they have made this in 42mm size then it would suit you better, imho. funny how 10 yrs ago 40mm was like the norm :D

I dig it! It's like Smurf on Blue Berry Muffins. :) 40mm is the new "gentleman size". It might grow on you, who knows?

36mm for a sub-look-alike suits me, but 40mm will look fine for most. It sure looks ok on you!
