In my hunt for explorer look a like, found this sandoz at shop near my home...surprised that it's not too small on my wrist..Think it's 36mm, a sandoz Singapore given the sapphire crystal and large crown? But the price is 472........the bracelet is utter trash as well....

SANDOZ SG bracelets are mostly very light on weight. Often gives me kind of, "LESS STEEL/NOT SOLID" cheap feel when compared to the STEINHART bracelet. The watches are ok... powered with ETA movements, with the looks homage to the Rollies range... simple, classic.

One of the plus points is the price. The list you get there in your neighborhood shop is close to 500, you may get it more.. erm... bump a few red bills off after discount. You may want to try TWINKLE or Bencoolen shops(Except MxxMxx). And with such budget friendly price, you may not feel the pain when you send your piece for post modifications, on the hands...

Highly recommended: I enjoyed my Sandoz explorer for a really long time, until I traded with top up for a RXW Expeivo. She was my favourite travelling watch. 36mm is a nice classic size which works for both men & women. If you are tired of it, just change it to a shorter leather strap and pass it to your wife/girlfriend! :)Image

Depending on which variant you're eyeing... The SS sub can be bargained below 400 mark(i'm talking somewhere between 350~399).
If above 400... perhaps you had been eyeing on the bigger sized one?

Couldn't attach the picture on the comparison because PMWF website is down.
