What a Sinn!
What a Sinn!
Just received this - a Sinn 8820.
I have been searching for one for quite some time as it's not common.
Based on what I read (off the internet no less, so it must be true! ), the 8820 was in production until 1994 when the company was sold.
The 8820 was Sinn's 1st titanium watch. It's signed ETA 2892-A2 movement can be seen through its transparent see through caseback.
Case measures around 39mm (3 o'clock to 9 o'clock, including bezel) but it wears large. Both crown and bracelet clasp are marked with a simple 'S'.

Vintagey wabi-sabi look. And the 5pm crown is also interesting.
Nice hoot! What was the damage?

Thanks all!
Yes, my friend thought it will kill my wanting for a MM300
Damage is around the price of a used MM300

Re: What a Sinn!
Thanks for the kind comments.
Another plus point for me is that it is very light because of its titanium make. Almost disproportionate to how it wears large.

Is the trade off for vintage indices equal no lume?
Re: What a Sinn!
Generally true I believe, but for this Sinn which is about 20 years old, the markers still glow at nightchriscentro wrote:Is the trade off for vintage indices equal no lume?
