Just caught the movie Interstellar (amazing movie by the way) and saw the two watches worn by the main character and his daughter.

Is this future set in the future? Means Hamilton watch will be in working condition many years in the future?

The "Murph watch" will never be in production for public purchase. Confirmed by Hamilton. The pilot watch on the other hand, is currently available.

They made 12 for the movie, which were returned to them. One was given away in a contest recently.
