WR specs of 3500m? This shall put most divers watches out there into shame... on paper.

For 500eu, you'll only get SS casing with bracelet.

Main stream brands with such specs will certainly hit more than 550eu. One benefit of keep supporting micros, is that you get bang for buck value from whatever you paid after a purchase. And these watches are made to be VFM but not for speculations... who knows, numbers of years later, when one micro watchmaking company goes down, those people who have positive impressions from them will look around for old makes again?

The prices quoted are subjected for further VAT removal, and inclusive of shipping charges worldwide. Hence this leads me to think of STEINHART... TRITON 1000 which is about this price with the workhorse movement we knew, but excludes shipping charges.

To be frank, i am tempted now... although my favorites still goes to the 'S' brands...

According to the last and latest post on the project update...

Doesn't sound too bad if the build quality is up to scratch with that of an equivalent priced Seiko or Citizen.

The thing about micro brands is the cachet of exclusivity, very much like how much extra people are willing to pay for say a normal Sumo vs a limited edition Sumo, or for that matter, a limited edition AP Royal Oak versus a normal one for example.

Seriously thinking of getting one too. Anyone can comment on the build quality of Prometheus?

Since there's no mention of limitation in manufacture quantity, and according to the information given, we can have the little "luxury" of time to consider until he end of the year to place special full deposit which have bigger savings...
Hmmm... if you have the patience though... for deliveries schedule all the way till next year...
