Nomos Tangente Ruthenium

Post by sys12345 » 14 Apr 2011 23:23

Picked this one up in Cologne, Germany at a Wempe outlet over 2 years ago.

The entrance is locked. U'll need to wait for the stout gentlemen, dressed in a suit to unlock the door for u.
Image

A nice push-button wooden case
Image

The watch and a booklet (comes with 2 years International Warranty)
Image

35mm case with sapphire crystal
Image

With a case thickness of only 6.6mm, it presents a rather slim side profile. It has a signed Nomos crown as u can see in the pic below.

Image

Sapphire glass display caseback showing a nicely decorated Nomos in-house Alpha manual wind movement. Power reserve: 45hrs. Water resistance: 30m
Image

The watch comes with a hand-made Shell Cordovan leather strap. It is very durable, as well as being very comfortable on the wrist.
Image

Signed Nomos tang-buckle
Image

Lastly, a wrist shot ..

Thanks for viewing! ;)

The white dial is very nice too... i've got a friend with one. I like the blue hands. However, as a dress watch, i prefer the cleaner look without a date aperture.

Nice watch! What is the damage? Heading to Germany end of the year; cheaper to get the watch from there?

Dont know whats the current price for this one but i think u should be able to get it for < 1k Euros (after rebate). Its a NO BRAINER to buy it in Germany, since your VAT rebate is quite high. The more expensive your watch is, the higher will be the VAT rebate. Keep a look out for Wempe, they should have outlets located throughout Germany. Happy hunting! ;)
