Review: Seiko FF SNZH57K enhanced with Sapphire Crystal

Post by roo7 » 30 Aug 2011 10:33

I think I'm the first to jump into the sapphire crystal wagon for the popular FF mod.

The original hardlex crystal, 4mm thick.

Now after the operation I realised, there isn't much to shout about, in fact I was quite disappointed.

I concluded that the sapphire crystal offers very little differences over the hardlex crystal as they are both domed and the usual blue tinge from anti reflective coating isn't very obvious.

It's a nice to have mod if you just want that additional scratch protection for the crystal.
