I just got back from Taipei last night .

Some of my observations ...
1. taipei airport (duty free) has omega, chopard, iwc, zenith .. u might want to check out the prices when u arrive
2. taipei 101 has all the major brands (jlc, patek, panerai , ap etc ... )
3. tissot/hamilton/mido are commonly seen amongst the smaller shops ....
I do NOT need another watch , I have enough watches ...

yeah, the mrt over there is easy to take.

u will be surprised at the commuters behaviour, all line up properly when the train approaches, unlike here in sillypore, all fugging stand & clusterfug at the door when the train approaces..

Our station is so over crowded, if we really form 2 lines before the train door, it will lead all the way to the entry gates

Taipei is easy to move around one..... if you are going to all those major attraction ones... difficult to find seiko one let alone vintage..... u must go off the beaten track..... a few shops still can be found but I lost it in my old hard drive....

The time (2008) I went there, price is not so friendly compared to here... so my advice... forget about looking for seiko instead go for casio.... which I find is competitive to here.... and enjoy your ssrr there and dun forget to EAT!!

yup, i saw a Seiko Alpinist Quartz full lume GMT(my model) when I was there ard 6yrs ago from a shop, it was about $700sgd ;)

seikos are generally more pricier over there as wat other bros had mentioned but instead, go for g-shocks, they tend to have models which sillypore haven bring in yet or dun even have it. eg: vintage colour riseman, 2 yrs ago
