I don't change the date of my watch from 12am to 6am. I understand from my friend that he crashed the mechanism inside his watch when he did that. His Rolxx watch only changes date at 2am after that.

I'm not an expert but taking a stab in the dark here.
Since its a fully mechanical watch, perhaps it's a two step process to change from 30th to 1st? Gears take a but more time to change over. Maybe it changes to 31st at 1230am then to 1st at 1.30am? So when bro Ivan snapped the pic at 1240 am it was mid process of the date change?
OR uncle Ivan here dunno how to set the perpetual calendar and he still stuck in January 2012?
