Another local online source is from:

petrolnut.blogspot.com

I find his prices competitive, and have purchased many pieces from him. He has also helped me source for a hard-to-find piece in from overseas.

Hi there,

Anyone bought a watch from Skywatches?
http://www.skywatches.com.sg/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

How reliable are they?

they have a physical shop at People's Park Complex.u might wanna head down there to have a look.

so far the watch they sold are authentic but price wise,it's down to individual bargaining skill.

cheers.

iirc, skywatches(watchfashion) prices does not include GST & I heard some stories about their sales tactic :|

alternatively, u can try Twinkle, #02-33, just one floor down from skywatch(watchfashion), look for Jennifer

I came across this shop, ATC @ sunshine plaza while I was there printing a signage.
They have quite a number of vintage watches.
Any reviews on them?

Didn't have time to go in as I m rushing.

Mr Ang is quite a nice guy.

However , with so many watches he has, if come with aftermarket parts, he himself also ain't sure.this was said by himself too.

I will rate him a class above csc, much more friendly.

Note he can't do major repairs himself,so what he sells are "as it is"

His prices are rather okie as well.

IMHO

yes, Mr Ang is a reputable seller.

He's more well versed in vintage omegas than vintage Seikos.

One thing good about him is, he allows a trade back or refund if the watch is fitted with aftermarket parts, if you buy a seiko watch from him :)

Paiseh ah, i dunno whether this is out of topic or not...
My brother's orange monster bought early last yr, run 2 min faster per day, is K2 a good place to service it? can anyone tell me the rough estimation for the calibration service?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Can't really remember the exact figure, but I recall it was in the ballpark of around $10. That's just regulating without any servicing whatsoever.
