bro, I was looking at your ricoh diver (with NOS case) article just few minute ago in SCWF..think its was a 2010 thread that you mentioned about the mini ops to transplant the case.

Ricoh divers/sports watches are sure under appreciated and think 10 times more uncommon than any Seiko. production quantity(trial n err, limited production numbers) could be the reason after Ricoh aint really into watch making unlike Seiko and Orient. Hope you sold off locally..least still can get it back if you want in future.

This worldtimer I got uses a nice BoR,almost similar to enicar sherpa guide and even the case dimensions are the same. :)

I am looking for the automatic big crown Ricoh OCean Master ,its the ultimate Ricoh diver, aside from the Ricoh 700m tuna( quartz).

Ricoh variants are rather unique.. you can see different case types .. best to take pic of such watch beside an old ricoh camera and other accessories..

Thanks R-Oak, My collection is nothing compare to the powerhouse watches other bros have(I'm into vintages). And
what matters is the you truly love each piece you have and think back what makes the purchase worth..

I'm sure you be able to find a PMMM if you determine enough.

This Ricoh Worldtimer is similar to the measurement(thickness, lug width, case size)of the Enicar Sherpa Guide but what baffles me now is
that I think that this watch of mine is actually using an original Enicar Sherpa Guide (almost like beads of rice) bracelet.

Image

The feel, fluid movement of each links is very nice and really feels the same as those of Enicar's and that I used to own. But of course the previous owner replaced the clasp to that of a Ricoh, marked Stainless Steel ,Japan K(in a circle).

shape and cuting of endlinks looks same as that of the enicar's not to mentioned the center fixed 5-beads design and 3 by 2 beads per segment n bracelet.

I like to ask if anyone here in SCS have a Sherpa Guide and the bracelet for comparisons? Pics would be good.
